Integrated Marketing Communication at NBA Group of Institutions

Integrated marketing communications or, as we may call it IMC, is the new thing in the branding world these days. And how could your business gain from these marketing strategies is an important topic to ponder upon.

What is IMC?

These days a brand would meet you at numerous points each and every day, sometimes you are consciously notice it and sometimes you don’t. This communication eventually makes an image about the brand in our minds. However, the most important point that brands keep in mind is to maintain consistency in their communication through all channels.

So now finally the concept of integrated marketing communications has completely arrived. IMC is defined as a concept that is created to make various pillars of marketing such as sales promotions, Advertising and Public Relations, direct marketing work as a single force. It is also regarded as one of the most notable trends adopted by the marketing people in the last decade, which could leave a significant impact on the minds of the 21st century consumer.

So, taking it forward to the Indian context, IMC plays an all the more crucial role in the society as the customer base is highly fragmented. The huge size of the country along with its cultural diversity had made it quite difficult for the brands to communicate as compared to the other countries. Here the marketing managers apply fundamentals of marketing in variety of ways, which reflects the basic principles of IMC to ‘Think globally, act locally’, hence it becomes all the more relevant for Indian students to understand the theories of social classes, culture, demographic, and social influence with reference to India.

NBA group of Institutions have understood the need of the hour and have introduced Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) as a full time subject in its Bachelors in Mass Communication and Masters in Mass Communication course. IMC is an intense program that prepares you to be a successful marketing manager and imparts skills which are quite crucial for today’s marketing scenario.
